Bike rack horrors...

Okay, I should have just bought all the parts for the bike rack on my van at the same time. I decided to try and piecemeal parts together in order to save money and that didn't work. I finally found someone in town that carried the 58" bars and went to put the rack together last night...and realized the towers were missing parts. Towers I purchased like a month ago, Hopefully Dicks will be sympathetic. We'll be leaving tomorrow for Maxwell, NE after the girls are done with Camp tomorrow. I'm a bit nervous about this Triathlon being that it's an Xterra, never done one of those before. I'll post pics when we get back.

Bike Club News

Yesterday I received wonderful news from the folks at the Munroe-Meyer Institute (UNMC). The  Recreational Therapy department is going to let me borrow an adapted three wheeled bicycle for the Duathlon in Fremont Nebraska July 14, 2008.  Check out the link below.

Munroe-Meyer Recreational Therapy

I'll run with Thaddeus for 2 miles, ride a three wheeled bike with him for 12 miles and finally follow that up with another 2 mile run.
