Thaddeus and I decided it was time to try a triathlon. We picked the
Plattsmouth triathlon because....well Thaddeus was born there. It turned out not to be the best choice for a "first" triathlon. VERY hilly!! We had a great time, Thaddeus was in a wonderful mood, laughing and smiling before the event. We met some new friends from Wayne Nebraska with a child in a similar situation to Thaddeus. They've worked with Wayne State College to create a bike for their special child. They too have
aspirations about completing larger events with their child. It was nice to meet some folks that were "like" us. Thaddeus and I placed 3rd in our age group...out of 4 *laughs*. We had fun and we finished.
